A former student, Margaret Bermel (in the forefront of the photo to the left), has included a reference to her experience at Water Tiger in a book she has written and published. A reworking of her Water Tiger student profile, previously posted in our newsletter and online, is included in her book under the chapter title Profile of a Chi Gung Student:

The qi gong school is an unexpected gift. I found that I entered into a peaceful, supportive place, surrounded by Reiki practitioners, kind and caring people, a very thoughtful and mindful Laoshi, a haven where universal chi flows freely.

We were saddened to learn that Margaret died on June 26. She was 60. Although her time with us on the mat was short, we can testify that she left a part of herself with us and we are sure that we sent her away with a part of ourselves. Her family, her friends, and her colleagues have our deepest condolences.
